Help! I haven’t changed my decor since…?!?

OK! So you’ve established that it’s time for a little love to happen in the home decor department. 

Here’s what to do (sorry starting with the least fun part):

1. Establish a budget. 

1. Think of the spaces that you MOST need to update and prioritize them in order of what’s making you most to least crazy. This will help you decide where that budget will be spent.

1. Find some inspiration photos. An easy search is on Pottery Barn  https://www.potterybarn.com/tips-and-ideas/rooms/ but you can always scour Pinterest and Instagram.

1. What is it you love about the rooms you chose? You don’t want to COPY them, but just feel the essence of what appeals to you from the inspo pics.

1. Decide what you can keep of your existing furniture, artwork, rugs and accessories to then see what are some key things you’ll need. 

1. Let the shopping begin! 

1. Arrange, hang and admire!
